Be it rectangle, square, circle, trapezoid, hexegon, whatever. It can't change the fact that he wouldn't go into a crowd of regular people if his life depended on it. Everything about him smacks of snobbery. I just finished watching Kerry/Edwards speak at last night's rally (taped it, too tired last night) and I had to smile. Real people there, right there, in the crowd. REAL people. Real minorities too, not just those bused in from somewhere else. Watching Kerry and Edwards go through the crowd was breathtaking. Just like everything else between them, Kerry and Bush differ on what they think of the people. Bush: Only loyal Bushies can get in to see him and probably not get close anyway. He MAY go into a crowd but only if they're a crowd of millionaires. Dick Cheney: blah, let's not even get started there. Kerry: Real gatherings with real people, even those that are against him. He actually goes into the crowd, so does Edwards. That is what defines a man-among-the-people. Not some jackass standing on a circle probably surrounded by barbed wire and electric fences.
