Brace yourselves for bad Gallup poll

Just wanted to let people know that Gallup is coming out tomorrow, and I suspect it will be bad. Their "likely voter" screen is very skewed toward Republicans and always produces results that are pro-GOP. Frank Newport of Gallup even admits as such.

With this in mind, the results could be worse than Time or Newsweek's numbers.

2. I think this could actually be good news!

The last thing I want to see is Kerry to be ahead by 8 to 10 points or more at any time prior to Nov.2nd. When people see that, they slack off and don't bother to vote, because they feel their vote isn't needed...look how far ahead their candidate is!

I don't want shrub to be way ahead either, but I really think this is a motivator.

so we shouldn't really care what the Gallup poll says.

5. i was 36 when i had second child and they

wanted to test for down syndrome. i said no, because regardless i wasnt going to abort, really didnt matter what the test said

i dont care what the gallup poll says cause i am not going to quit..........so really doesnt matter. but thanks for the softening up

11. Likely voters?

Anyone have any idea if this means people who identify themselves as "likely voters" or, are these people who have a record of having voted in the past. I think this is a consideration given the folks shrub may have encouraged to become engaged in the process for the 1st time.
