| I can't believe a Club for Growth ad quotes Dylan to attack Kerry |

Just saw it. Something like:
'How many times can Kerry flip flop? The answer is blowin' in the wind.'
It makes as much sense as using Jesus Christ, one against killing and hoarding of wealth, to argue for Bush... well, nevermind.

They are quoting Blowin in the End...
Maybe the most amazing Pro-Peace song in history?

That reminds me of the cruise ship commercials that use "Lust for Life," one of my favorite Iggy Pop songs. They are advertising "good, wholesome family fun" using a song about drugs and sex.
It's like advertisers (and Rethug political campaigns) are confident that no one will actually look for any real meaning.

| 3. I suspect Andrew Sullivan might dedicate it to the Cheney family: |
|
"Yes, 'n' how many years can some people exist Before they're allowed to be free? Yes, 'n' how many times can a man turn his head, Pretending he just doesn't see?"
Do the saber-rattlers and sofa soldiers really want to remind people of this soundtrack for the nightly news:
"How many times must a man look up Before he can see the sky? Yes, 'n' how many ears must one man have Before he can hear people cry? Yes, 'n' how many deaths will it take till he knows That too many people have died?"
:wtf:
