| We're all doing what we can til November... |
|
Today during dinner at my friend Samplegirl's (member) house, her 90 yr old mother (staunch dem) began to choke. Heimlich, turn blue, etc.
The parameds were there in 6 min (excelent) and after a close call they had her mother set up, (she's ok now) Samplegirl told the PMs "Thanks, she wants to be around to vote Buxh out in Nov". (It's true)
One of the parameds said "Don't worry, were union firemen, and we're voting Kerry". The other said "I'll go as far as to say George Buxh isn't my president".
As they were wheeling her mother to the ambulance Samplegirl scrambled to pin two of my always handy Kerry buttons on the men.
Is there such a thing as trying TOO hard ? Should we have slipped a bumper sticker on the ambulance too ? We're all doing what we can.

| 1. I don't know if the boss would have gone for the bumper sticker |
|
but I don't think there is such a thing as trying too hard especially knowing what's at stake over the next 4 years.
Please relay my best wishes to mama Samplegirl for a speedy recovery.
