For the last time, he's not on our side. He only appears to be when he gets to confont some of the loonier elements on the other side.
Anyway, he had someone on from both campaigns and kept pressing the Kerry guy on the "contrast" between JK's current critique of the Iraq war and his vote giving the President authorization to go to war. I have to say that the Kerry guy was terrible -- in no small part to Tweety's constant badgering.
Look -- Kerry himself does a great job articulating his position on Iraq. But his staff (other than Joe Lockhart) HAS to start giving sharp, direct, and concise answers.
The Iraq question can be answered easily -- "John Kerry made the mistake of believing this President. He won't make the same mistake twice." Period. Next question.
