They had a huge deficit for years. My guess is Obama is also winning independents by a good margin.

80% of all early votes are absentee, rather than in person. Usually republicans vastly outnumber democrats in absentee voting.

11. Remember these are NOT votes

CO is a state where you must register by party (or independent). We don't know how many ppl who call themselves GOP voted for Obama (or god forbid, the reverse).

It might be an indicator but is there any proof it is an accurate predictor of the vote let alone even early voting?

I think Obama will win CO by at least 5 points as independents are falling heavily into Obama's column.

23. It's not a worry at all

Democrats just took the lead in voter registrations for the first time ever. Seriously, we took the lead like two weeks ago. What's more, as we all know absentee voting usually favors the Republicans. Lastly, as long as the independents vote strongly for Obama as the polls suggest they will, then we've got no worries as they are still the largest group in the state.

Where you have to wonder if the Dems are really Dems. In fact in Colorado McSame is the one who has to worry if a Repuke is really a Repuke. Oh and Obama is way up with Independents. This breakdown is not bad news.

of No/Other are mostly for Obama means Barack has a significant lead.

What does that mean? We show up "day of" while Repubs do their deal uber early. Obama's been trying to get the "day of" thing out of our system.
