Barack Obama schedule...
...Kissimmee, Florida Osceola Heritage Park Gates Open: 8:30 pm (EDT)
...how can the "live 30 minute show" at 8 pm feature a live appearance from Obama? (...or, did I miss something? )

then have Bill Clinton pass the torch to Obama, Obama speaks for maybe 5 minutes, the crowd goes wild, cut and wrap.
Let everyone in at 8:30 for the rally.

After all, campaign rallies have a habit of starting notoriously late, and Obama certainly wouldn't want to risk missing his big "tv special." If the speeches start at the earlier venue at, say, 7:30, then Obama would be right on target (with a little flexibility built in). Of course, that's all just speculation from up here in the "cheap seats" of (already decided) SC.

the gates opened hours earlier than the event. Also..only part of the 30 minutes is live. Much of it is taped.
