Thank you Newsweek! Thank you Time!
For weeks, we have been struggling by at our campaign headquarters. Lots of people have talked about helping, but getting people to actually get to work on the phone banks, or get out and canvas has been like pulling teeth.

Not anymore. The phony Bush bounce has scared the faithful into getting off their butts and out on the stump.

We have six lines for the phone bank, and tonight we had more volunteers show up than we had phones for. And people get coming in, scared to death that Bush was heading for victory, wanting to know what they could do, offering to phone, walk their precincts, help with mailings, etc.

The Bush propaganda has backfired badly, All it has done is inspire Democrats! This election is ours to win.

1. Yep

It had that effect on me.

I kinda hope Kerry stays down in the polls for that reason, since polls are bs anyways.

Win one for the 1000 young men and women we have lost.

Win one for Mari.

2. I personally got off my butt
and made my assigned phone calls tonight. Here in Ashcroft-ville I had several people want to work for the Kerry in this election. Very exciting.

It'll be nerve-wracking, but in a way i'm hoping it's a close race right to the finish, for exactly the reason you mean.

5. We are making plans for surplus volunteers!
Tomorrow, if we have extra people we are going down to the local community college with Lit and voter registration forms.

6. Also
The fact that Kerry said Iraq is the "wrong war at the wrong time" the other day makes me feel much better about working for him.

7. WE're were hoping that might happen!
And why wouldn't it? What the Fudge were they thinking?

They want bush so they give him high poll numbers and it backfires!
