because Russert made sure the subject stayed on the Iraq war Graham wasn't able to say anything about the Saudi goverment ties until literally the very end. Graham made sure he got some of it out there but Russert dismissed it and said "for another time" and ended the show.

Russert was well aware of what was in Graham's book and made sure he kept tight control of the subjects that were being discussed.
