care and winning the unwinnable war in his own words. Bush is baseless and false, end of story.
This is great seeing Bush answering to all these unanswered questions, now maybe if the public pressure reaches a boil, we'll get some real answers from the horses mouth.

I mean, if I were going to write a parody, I don't think I could do better. Wow.
Texans for Truth is a front group for the 527 Move On.org. The Move On.org advisor just moved over to the Kerry Campaign.
Oh, that's just rich. A front group? The money and (such as they are) brains behind the Tom Swifties making accusations of front groups?
The President served honorably in the National Guard and was honorably discharged.
Tie the lie to an irrelevant truth. Someone's been boning up on his Goebbels!
This is another attempt by the Kerry campaign to divide Americans over the Vietnam war.
Like, say, accusing someone who served in Vietnam of not losing enough blood to qualify for medals?
The President is focused on the business of the American people. He has an agenda for the future to lower the cost of health care...and fight and win the war on terror.
Hoo hoo ha ha ha! Stop--you're killin' me!

Irony perfected. 1984 in living color.
Texans for truth is truthful. SBV for truth was lies.
Texans aren't connected to Kerry. SBV were connected to Shrub.
But darn if what isn't good for the goose is good for the gander.

| 14. Next stop, just how did Bush get an honorable discharge? |
|
A couple of his commanders are dead, but there are still a couple floating around who could, if they had guts, clear this up. Walter Robinson, who has done the work in the Boston Globe, leaves it up in the air as to why someone who didn't fulfill his obligations should get an honorable discharge. Now, we all know why. Don't we?

He's a Christian. He was honorably discharged. In title only. Not in truth. The republicans are image oriented wordsmiths. But it's "spirit" that counts. And they don't get that. I suppose if one buys a phoney university credential, they'd accept it? Empty people. Walking dead. I wonder what causes people to be that way. I see the universe in a bee. Not a stinging insect. I know I'm generalizing in a ridiculous way. But this election is a nobrainer.

| 20. The ad is baseless and false? |
|
OPENING TITLE: Was George Bush AWOL in Alabama? What's baseless and false about this? It doesn't say "George Bush was AWOL in Alabama"--THAT would lend itself to being true or false.
CAPTION: Lt. Col. Robert Mintz (Ret.), 187th Tactical Squadron, Air National Guard, Montgomery Alabama What's baseless and false about this? Mintz's name? His rank? That he's retired? His squadron? His unit? That it was in Alabama?
MINTZ: I heard George Bush get up and say he served...in a unit in Alabama... What's baseless and false about this? Is is false that Bush got up? It is false that Bush said he served there? Is it false that Bush said her served in Alabama?
MINTZ: ...Really? That was my unit...I don't remember seeing you there.... What's baseless and false about this? That Mintz served in that unit? That he doesn't remember seeing him there?
Mintz:...So I called friends: "Did you know George served in our unit?" "No, I don't remember seeing him there." What's baseless and false about this? That he called friends? That the friends DIDN'T serve in the unit? That he HAS friends? That he asked them if they remembered seeing Bush there? That the people he called don't remember seeing him there?
MINTZ: It would be impossible to be unseen in a unit that size... What's baseless and false about this? That it would have been impossible to be unseen in a unit that size?
TITLE:Tell Us Whom You Served With, Mr. President. That's an order to be obeyed or disobeyed, not a true/false statement.
TITLE: George Bush Has Some Explaining To Do. Well, there's certainly nothing false about THAT!!

|
... this is what the Kerry campaign SHOULD have been doing with each attack... immediately responding, denying, refuting, and putting to rest. Of course, Bush lying to refute doesn't put the truth to bed, but the immediate response thing is oh so important for talking points, etc...

This is very funny coming from the people who sponsored the Swifties for Bush.
The fact that this ad is hitting the same time as Ben Barnes and Kitty Kelley book is just plain funny.

Shrub had ample opportunity to be honest with us and blew it. Hell, he had ample opportunity to be one of the greatest leaders of the previous and current centuries and he blew it. I was explaining to one of my employees how life offers up a number of golden moments that you can rise or sink to. This miserable man has sunk to the lowest level every time opportunity for redemption has been offered to him. This would be simply tragic were he not the president. Because he is, it's a world wide emergency and we need vote this asshole back to the obscurity he so richly deserves.
