So I bought a flag today

The day we invaded Iraq, I took our flag down from the front of our house. And I have said I would wait until we bring our troops home before I hang up a new flag.

But then today I decided I really should put up a flag for Election Day.

I am actually looking forward to putting it up. :patriot:

15. I Have A Beautiful Flag That Hasn't Flown Since 2000

And yes, it is an American made flag! Ever since the republicans decided to divide the country using "our" (I emphasize our) flag, I have refused to fly it. Just so you know, I am a patriot and have proudly saluted our flag almost every morning at colors for almost 28 years and counting.Unlike so many other retarded "amer kins" I know what it means to be a patriot and what our flag truly stands for. Once these idiots started flying it (more like ruining it) on cars and measuring patriotism by how fucking big your God Damn flag lapel pin is, or if you are even wearing one, I decided that I would not fly the American flag until we took our country back from these evil sonofabitches. Millions of double digit IQ morans running around in our country without a clue as to what it means to be a patriot, thinking that the harder you wave the flag, the more of a patriot you are. Dickheads! It has sickened me for all these years. But, you know what? Tuesday sounds like a fine day to fly our flag, and I think I will.

We've kept our flag flying. But, we added some numbers.





The number reflects the number of American service members who have been killed in Iraq. We update the number every time it changes. Sadly, we do this almost daily.

You would be surprised at the number of people who walk by and ask us what the number stands for. Some already guessed. Funny how they were Democrats. The Dems are the ones who always come by to comment and talk about politics. The repukes? Once they learn what the number stands for, they don't make any more comments.

I wish everyone would put numbers in their yards. It's easy to do and it is a constant reminder of what is happening in this world.

Enjoy your flag! You have earned it! We all have!

We haven't flown it in the past 6 years- I told him if Obama wins we have to put it out on Wednesday to celebrate the reclamation of our country.
