sinking ship. if they can portray bush as being ahead of kerry and kerry as a loser ... people, so they think, will bail out of the kerry vote and switch to vote for bush ...... hopefully the american people is smarter than that ... although, quite frankly the editor of a major newspaper here in florida told me during the Janet Reno/Bill McBride primaries that her heart told her to vote for Reno but the polls showed McBride could beat Reno and Jeb Bush so she was voting for Reno ....... SHE WAS WRONG, WRONG, WRONG, and stupidly so, if i may say so. EDIT, I MEAN SHE SAID, SHE WASY VOTING FOR MCBRIDE!!!!! SHE WAS WRONG, WRONG, WRONG!!!!!!!!!
