Last week there was a horrible feeling in the air with the Republican convention going on and Bush getting a very slight bounce and now everything seems to be going the direction they went before the whole stupid swiftboat shit came out. It gives me some measure of hope.

their words are very powerful and sentimental and such... but after a while reality sets in... so no matter what they say, ppl are dying in iraq... ppl are getting poorer... college, medicine and healthcare are getting more expensive... jobs are disappearing... ppl do not feel like they are at war, and mostly, ppl are seeing on a daily basis that this country is going in the wrong direction.

We have not seen the last of the horrible tricks this man has to play. He knows his support is going to waste away, but can be temporarily revitalized with an event wherein he can be perceived to be leading, and so he will create this event right before the election to get that temporary boost he needs to get 4 more years on the throne he has usurped.
