If you were a Bush voter but you really didn't like him that much. Actually you think he sort of sucks but you're a Republican so you try to do your duty. But you don't like his war in Iraq and you dspise the way he has run our country into debt. So, the polls show him up by 10 points. Are you more or less likely to vote for him??

scarborough sounds REALLY upset by the deficit and *'s crazy spending...and he is a "reagan republican"
I think people should vote who they want and who they think is better not based on who is up in the polls...regardless of any of the candidates I have ever voted for...I never relied on polls to tell me who to vote for..I am not voting to try to predict a winner..I vote for who I prefer...so if kerry is down by 10 pts come november (unlikely) but if he is..I still plan to vote for him.and I hope people come out anyway..no matter what the "georgie girls" are spewing thru the tv.

Would you make as much effort to vote for him? Of course you will vote for Kerry because you respect him, even if he's behind by 10 points on election day.

I've been wondering about what percentage of those polling for Bush* secretly have every intention of pulling the ol' switcheroo when in the voting booth???

I know some people who are just that way and would be happy for Bush not to win, but they are gonna vote for him because they figure he is going to win. One person said that they (republicans) have all the power. Guess he is scared of getting caught "not" voting for Bush. Strange.

Polls are unimportant this year. Why? Because most polling companies only contact Registered and Likely voters. So if you voted 4 years/8 years ago, they'll contact you. What they leave out is the tons of new registered voters that signed up this year. Trust me, there are LOTS of people that registered for the first time to get W out of office.
And they only poll about 1,003 people. That # doesn't represent the nation. IMHO
