| Does anyone else think the Media plays off the left and right? |

I do.
It seems as soon as a candidate starts moving up, the stuff hits the fan regarding the front runner. It has happened to Dean who was left of Kerry, it has happened to Kerry when he was way ahead of Bush. Now it seems that it is Bush's turn.
I do know the right is convinced the media favors the left. I know the left thinks the media shills for the right. When ever a story knocks a candidate, half the people say, "Yeah, they finally got it right".
Perhaps a tight race is what they want, so people will stay engaged, and buy more newspapers, magazines, watch more TV and listen to more radio.
That way, they make more money.

| 1. Yeah, I came to that conclusion long ago. |

They'll do whatever is necessary to keep people tuned in, including misrepresent known data. The dirtier it gets, the higher their ratings, so of course they want a tight, dirty race. I'm not even sure they care who wins, at the bottom of it.

I'll have to remember the game they are playing that way I won't need more Tums (major advertiser).

The urgency in everything seems to be going up and up these days. The only non hysterical option seems to be NPR and PBS.
