| Most idiotic bumper sticker yet?? |
|
Saw this on a car in the parking lot of my dentist's office:
"Benedict Arnold/John Kerry Band Of Brothers"
(BTW - if I find out this belongs to anyone in my dentist's office I'm changing dentists...)

bumper stickers:
Repent - Register Republican Bush-Cheney 2004 Accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour Minister
I should have followed him to see what church he belongs to. If he is a preacher and is endorsing Bush in front of his church members, the IRS might be interested in his tax-exempt status.

Not coincidentally, this gene pool drain scum had two "Swastika '04" and Christian radio bumper stickers as well.

History - but I believe that Benedict Arnold was later exonerated and found not to be a traitor to his country. In fact, I believe he was found to be exactly what he claimed to be: a patriot and a war hero. Some evidence shows that he was set up as a fall guy by the President...mmm, that sounds a bit familiar.

He betrayed his country when commanding West Point. Yes, he was a great general, came within a whisker of taking Canada, fought an imaginative naval action on Lake Champlain and was more than just instrumental in the great victory at Saratoga, but he committed treason. Even the British shunned him, and he lived out his days as a veritable untouchable.

It wasn't that he was innocent of the charge, but that his wife was perhaps not innocent of putting him up to the task - a charge he denied. Got it - now on to matters that are taking place in this century...
