| Who agrees this a perfect time for Kerry to attack ? |
|
Edited on Fri Sep-10-04 06:54 PM by kentuck
I know, some will say he should have attacked weeks or months ago but we are where we are. And the Bush campaign and his supporters are preoccupied with these "documents" right now. It would be a great time to challenge the basic premises of Bush. For example, "No, America is not safer! There are more terrorists in this world. Furthermore, it was Mr Bush and Mr Cheney that were in charge on September the 11th, 2001. They did not do their jobs. And now they have the gall to tell the American people they will keep America safer!!"
This would get a lot of press coverage and would put the Bush campaign back on the defensive. I hope Kerry does this.

| 1. regarding the "flip-flop" on financing the war.... |
|
kerry should say, "of course, I voted to fund the war. But I was also told that we had an exit strategy. Obviously, we do not, and we have been lied to by our president. I am not willing to authorize any more money as long as there isn't a clear, compelling exit-strategy. It was the president who said one thing, and did something else. It's time for a change, not just in policy, but in administration."

|
He was awesome, he kept calling *'s decisions about our country "failed response" and kept refering to Kerry as a First Responder He said when he learned to drive he would put the car in "D" to go "forward" and "R" to go "backward".

| 5. I think the key is to hammer away at the coWard's credibility. |
|
If we can establish that he is a liar in enough voters' eyes, the election is over. If the coWard has no credibility, he cannot win the election, assuming the democrats don't totally blow it somehow.
Even the most incredible October Surprise won't be enough.

that will be the 6,000 lb elephant in the room. CBS just blew it wide open...
but form every attack in the form of CREDIBILITY/HONESTY/INTREGITY
Shrub's CREDIBILITY on his IRAQ actions.. Shrub's HONESTY on the real benefactors of the Medicare bill Shrub's INTREGITY on what has really been accomplished.
Keep hammering the words CREDIBILITY/HONESTY/INTREGITY...
while the Elephant sits there for everyone to see.

| 10. He should stay far, far away from the awol business. |
|
He can show his sincerity about economics and citizen issues being the most important by never bringing up the awol. Let others go after the press about truth (only). He should never mention *'s record again, unless * says something stupid in the debates about Kerry testifying after his tour of duty.
Let surrogates battle the surrogates.
