Remember "macaca?" I think groping a cardboard cutout of Secretary of State-Elect Hillary Clinton could do it again.

and the head in a mail box, and the use of the N-word. Macaca was a tight package to tie up the story of his racism.

Where does this fit in, relative to our new Democratic Administration?

It's not the end of the world but Favreau should have known better, ditto for the other drunken guy in the pic. To further compound their stupidity, they posted it on Facebook. Now millions of people have seen in print, internet and TV this kid copping a feel of the future SOS.

|
and says, during his stint in the Obama administration, should be given a 2nd thought.
I'm sure that he was thinking that when he apologized.
But I have to correct you, Favreau didn't cop a feel of the Future SOS .....as I don't think Hillary would appreciate the confusion between herself and a flat cardboard photo aka Campaign prop.
What he did wasn't smart, but it is not worth the many threads and the multiple discussions....especially now that Hillary Clinton does work for the Obama administration.

The primaries are history......and Hillary wouldn't appreciate this kind of dumbass counterproductive resentment.
I seriously doubt that she doesn't want to do anything but a good job for the President that she has accepted to serve. And I doubt that she would appreciate anyone who says they support her to attempt to undermine the Obama administration by making a big deal about small things.
I remember Obama making the statement that his opponents would try to make a big election about small things. But this ain't even about an election!
Favreau apologized to Hillary. I'm not sure why this subject should continue to be an issue.

|
If the Macaca thing were the only thing Allen would still be a Senator. But actually got the media to pay attention to his racist past and once the floodgates were opened, he was finished.
If Favreau had a secret history of groping women he would indeed be finished in politics. But he doesn't and that's why this is simply an isolated instance.
