4. Get ready for Cheney to say something "out there" again

Cheney's main job in this election is to be sure and take the heat for any stupid thing that Bush says or has done in the past. The Dems come up with against Bush and here comes Cheney to save the day and generally keep the news cycle on his "nuttiness" instead of real news of Bush's non-leadership.

Every time Bush opens his mouth to change feet Cheney rushes in saying something shocking, shocking I say. "I support my gay daughter." (He has had decades to say that but it was so much more effective when Bush had declared we can't win the war on terrorism. "We are going to get attacked again if Bush is not re-elected." was the official antidote for "catastrophic success." And so on and so on. He's just a CYA shill for Bushisms.
