| I was talking some reservists on Saturday night |

at a local bar. There was a group of five of them who were spending an evening on the town. We were drinking pool and shooting beer or was it the other way around? :) Anyway the subject of Iraq came up and I was so floored when they told me how much they hate shrub. They told me how much they hate the fact that our commander in thief is such an idiot and they were really pissed about the purple band aids at the repuke convention. One of them even told me that everyone in his unit was going to vote for Kerry. What really was surprising is this is a hugely rethug area.Looks like chimpy will be unemployed soon.

The word on post is KERRY... (now I no longer have access to post since hubby retired but still)
:-)
Yep bush does not have the miltiary vote in his pocket, why do you think they are going to allow electronic emails for troops to vote on?

It happened to shrub the first in 92 he pissed off a bunch of gulf war vets and they voted for Perot. My first SGT even told us he voted for Clinton so his ass wouldn't end up in yet another war.

My husband was active duty Army from 1985 to 1997. He voted for Clinton twice. A lot of the guys he worked with liked Clinton. They kept that like for him under wraps, sometimes, for safety sake. But they voted for him, damn straight.
Husband's best buddy from his military days is a guy who got out of active and went into the NG and is over in Iraq now. He's one of the biggest Dems you've ever seen, as is his whole family. They detest bush with a vengeance.

| 6. I've been saying for nearly a year that Chimp's lost the military |

vote, something he had to work really hard at. He's also lost the CIA and the FBI, and no president can possibly govern with those three public institutions so completely against him.
If he cheats his way back into office, folks, he's not going to stay there long. He will be removed from power, one way or the other.
I just hope he will respect the electoral process and allow it to throw his crooked ass out legally and with the least amount of fuss.

| 3. They myth of the military as being this big Republican borg |
|
is just that--a myth. Sometimes it is a self-fulfilling prophecy, in the case of military members voting Republican because they feel they "should" (buying into the stereotype). But too many servicemembers prove that stereotype to be a bunch of bunk.
