Kerry is doing something DUers are missing

he's talking about Medicare, which is huge in a way that doesn't get talked about a lot.

Of all the advice I've heard expressed toward the Kerry campaign, I've never heard anyone say, talk more about Medicare.

But he's doing it, and it's smart and could win him the election.

5. It's odd, I don't think of myself as senior....but

I am a "boomer"...so I'm almost there. Additionally, I recently went on disability and whippee do...I get to be in the F@#$%$# Medicare program!!! It's a total mess.

Sooooooo, Medicare IS a big issue (along with many others) for me and I say so when polled.

God, I'd hate to be in Kerry's shoes....Sooooooo many issues to address.

And yes, you bet your arse, we "over the hill" types DO VOTE. There are a whole lot of us too. ;)

4. excellent move. Saw a guy yesterday being interviewed

Can't remember the network, but he represented some small-business association of some kind. He was laying out the difference between the Repub and Kerry's health plans. He sounded very impressed with Kerry's plan and said that although small business owners tradiitionally vote republican, that Kerry's health plan made more sense and would help them out more than Bush's (Bush's plan being basically to do absolutely nada).

I was impressed with this and thought it was something Kerry should talk about more, which he seems to be doing today. Seems to be getting some media attention
