| Was Bill Burkett around at all in the 1970's during Shrub's TANG |
|
time or is his only relationship to all of this during the late 1990's?
If his only relationship to the story is that he claimed the * files were scrubbed and he sent the info to CBS and we know the information is accurate from Mrs Knox, then the story isn't going to be what a slacker * was but how the Bushistas did scrub his files for him to run for Prez.
I think what he did while preparing to run for Prez would be much more damaging then the 1970's spoiled, slacker stuff.
Am I wrong or am I missing something?

That's how I'm seeing it too.
I am starting to think Bill Burkett is a hero.

Watergate was a simple burglary...it was the coverup that got Nixon booted from the WH....

| 5. Watergate taught us the cover up is the real crime. |
|
Burkett was in the New Mexico National Guard. I think he became connected to the Texas National Guard in the 1990's.
This is beginning to take on Watergate-type proportions, but we are up against very, very bad people, who are also pretty smart.

| 6. Oh, that is big if he had no relationship with any of this back in |
|
the 1970's to know the truth.
I was looking for the Newsweek article where they talk about Burkett being a straight up guy who was offended at the idea that they were destroying documents and hiding stuff.
Please, let the media see the big picture and not get caught up in the minutia, BS crap. I know, I may be dreaming.

We are actually up against the SAME people.
They know * is in trouble with this race, and whaddaya know...!!
Here we go again.
You give them far too much credit.
Here's one lesson we all need to consider; You don't screw with a guy with his own TV show.
Thank You Dan Rather, Sleep well tonight Sir.
