| Listening to David Rivken on Hardball....Republicans are |

really hoping for an attack on American Soil. He is kissing Cheney's butt and basically saying the President has made the country weaker. He's arguing with Joan Walsh about it. He went on and on about Gitmo and basically said reports about how people were treated there were false.
What a jerk! I hate them all. They want an attack and more war.

|
...I think it would count against Bush/Cheney's ERA and not Obama's, since these things take time to plan and all.

Clinton even though they ignored warnings of an attack.

| 18. Yes, and I believe, to some extent, that Clinton shoulders some of the blame... |
|
...for what happened on 9/11. Although, considering the state of things in the 90's, I think he probably did as much as he could have with the tools available to him. However, as things sit now, we have the largest anti-terrorism apparatus ever invented trying to stop any future attacks. That was put into place by Bush/Cheney, and was a luxury not afforded to Clinton. Bush/Cheney/Rice failed in not listening to what Clinton's people were trying to tell them on their way out the door, and then by firing the one person who could have done something about it. While I'm sure Obama is taking things very, very seriously, he doesn't know what he doesn't know.

| 7. Jonathan Alter was on Ed's show earlier and he said the |

same thing - the Repubs would BENEFIT from another attack. He said (paraphrasing) that they are 'doubling down' on the bet that there will be another attack on US soil and how shocking it is to realize what they are hoping for.
I think it's treason.

One could almost see plans being made with their overseas allies to facilitate another attack.
Yes, I believe they let it happen.

...is that Mike Barnicle actually tried to call him out on that. After seeing him on "Morning Joke" on a regular basis, I still can't believe he didn't go along with Rivken. He also went after that homophobe whacko over gay marriage, sort of. More than I would expect of him, anyway.
