This morning, the local NBC affiliate had a brief story which had someone who I think might have been involved in organizing the local protest saying that they'd had a tea party in February with a turnout of 500 and they were expecting a turnout of 1500 today.

The local NBC affiliate has a story about "local turnout" which mentions a turnout of 35 in a small town in the metro-east (Illinois part of the St. Louis area), a turnout of 200 in a town in the western suburbs, and NOTHING about the turnout in downtown St. Louis.

The local CBS affiliate links to a national-level story that doesn't mention St. Louis at all.

The Post-Dispatch doesn't even mention the protests - at least not visibly (I didn't search, just looked for links on the home page and politics page).

The local Fox affiliate DID have a story which mentioned the turnout in downtown St. Louis - 400.

FOUR HUNDRED. Less than they had two months ago, and 1100 less than the organizer was predicting.
