leaves the WH by hellicopter, on January 20, 2005, for the last time to return to Crawford, Texas as President Elect Kerry takes the Oath of Office (assuming Bush leaves voluntarily from the WH)?

tears of joy while I am thanking God, and all the people who worked so hard during this campaign season I will cry for all those who have suffered under this "regime" and question how it ever came to be and will pray for the new President, the Real President. I will vow to stay informed, active and vocal so that it can never happen again.

I will probably cry during the entire swearing-in ceremony and it will be too good to be true....I will be able to wake up in the morning knowing that we have a Prez who is actually looking out for EVERYONE 24/7. Competancy will be back in the Executive branch of the govt.

Edited on Mon Sep-20-04 07:02 PM by moonkee2
I was in Court and after the hearing the Judge said to me, "Ms. [insert name}, I'd like to speak with you in chambers." Wondering what I had done wrong, I went to his office. He switched on his TV, tuned it to the Inaugeration, and said, "I thought you might want to watch this." And with that the Reagan presidency was over.

| 29. ahhhhh, the joy! We were there |
|
We went down, could only get a room in Alexandria, but oh what a time! We were far away from the actual ceremony in the crowd, but we recorded it on audio tape and when they stated playing Hail To The Chief, everyone started cheering, knowing he was now President. We got a great picture of President Clinton in the car, waving, arriving at the Capitol.
What a time. :grouphug: :kick:

becaue I don't trust him to act like a lame duck president as the other outgoing presidents before him have properly acted. He and his evil crew are nutzo enough to do some real damage between Nov. 3 and Jan. 20. Am I being too paranoid?

"Operation FUBAR" ie how messed up can Bush make things before Kerry takes office.
I say we also have to look at putting pressure on Republicans not to "Clinton" all over Kerry, as in trying to find something to investigate him on for his entire term.
We need to make the point that this behavior is unAmerican. They must give Kerry the chance to clean up the mess, or risk undermining his effectness at a time when we will need him to be really effective.
Unless of course they want another 9/11 just so they can be right.
They should heed their own warnings about undermining the president. I fear politics as usual though.

Don't know where to put this except I am tired of reading there is a problem with DU database. This is election year, we can't afford a problem especially when new people want on.. Who is taking care of the problems? Neocons?
Sorry guys my frustration level is low right now. This has gone on too long.
