CBS Should do a story on BIAS in the cable media

Wouldn't it be a perfect time for CBS to do a story on each "news freepie" and talk about their politics and background and who owns each station?

I think very few would buy it now after the memo flap. We, the faithful would, but the American people as a whole may not. However, maybe we can use the Mediablaster here at DU and convince CBS to do it.

CBS/Viacom...while friendly toward Democrats, is as corporate as they come and as secret. Bringing forth someone else's dirty laundry invites yours to be aired as well, and CBS doesn't need yet another black eye.

This Rove machine is on the warpath against CBS to marginalize it...or anyone else who attempts to attack the manchild...no matter how factual or relevant it is.

The way this story has gone over the top the past few days is outright scary for the future of this country.

5. Excellent Idea!

Something has to be done. Americans that aren't familiar with what the corporate news media is up to must be brought up to speed. Once they hear 1 news story devoted to corporate media bias and shown thru actual clips how it is done, everyone will be on board.

I am personally getting to a boiling point. The corruption I am seeing everyday is having a major effect on me that will not go unanswered.

If and I say If this election is stolen and If our country as we know it is in the process of being taken away, I will be called 100% into action and I pity these fascist fucks that are within arms reach and close by.

6. I don't think CBS has the creds right now to do this

Unless they uncover a trail during their investigation that leads back to a set up by Bush partisans in trafficking in forged documents, they are going to have a hard time for a while having anyone believe them as an unbiased arbiter of the news of the day. The more I hear, the more PISSED I am at CBS and Dan Rather for being so STUPID! Now they are trying to set up Joe Lockhart! Why??? Because Lockhart is a strong voice for Kerry and someone wants him SHUT DOWN. I still think this whole thing stinks to high heaven, but it worked to Bush*s advantage, unfortunately by taking the focus off of his questionable Guard service. He's got a pass now. I blame CBS for screwing this up, they should have known better!

CBS has some serious cleaning up to do, my fear is they'll go over to the dark side while the heat is on.
