Kerry's Press Conference....why not more?

After seeing most of his press conference, I don't understand why he doesn't do more of them. He did really well and when the media is saying that he has not given them access for the last five weeks or so, it makes me wonder why. He can do off the cuff very well, unlike that other guy....

One thing that was brilliant about it is that it will knock Dan Rather and CBS off the news for a bit.

And why in the world os the media complaining about Kerry not giving a press conference since when August when * has given just how many in four years? Talk about a double standard!

3. If he showed his hand before now

the media was have chewed him up and spit him out already. And most people would have forgotten by now.

Kerry is smart, he did this on purpose.

Don't worry for the next four years, we're gonna have plenty of Kerry. Kerry doesn't need a TelePrompter just to put two sentences together.

and others were not kind. They would twist his words and did not deserve to report on him. They put more doubt on him than helped him... '

I know I was one who wrote to kerry to skip the media and tv during that time - he was buying ads and they were trashing him and the ads. They were making money on him but trashing him.....

he needed a better outlet

Bush doesn't do press conferences - he lectures - he doesn't take questions from anyone - unless he has a pre written answer from one of his script writers.
