Tomorrow you may go to the polls to vote. Before you cast your vote, please strongly consider the consequences. You may not be aware but a new compulsory DRAFT is in the works. It is my considered belief that if George Bush is re-elected this DRAFT will be enacted. I will be subject to that draft given my profession. Peronally, I have a family to care for who depend on me for food, clothing, and shelter. If I am drafted, this will cause great harm and despair to my wife and children, whom I love dearly.
George Bush is solely responsible for the needless war in Iraq. The Iraq war has nothing to do with fighting those who attacked us on 9/11. He and those within his administration are planning to expand more attacks to Iran and other places not yet revealed in the mass media. We do not need this sort of leadership.
I firmly seek to replace George Bush with an alternative candidate. Right now that candidate is Kerry.
However, I am not asking you to vote for Kerry I am just asking you to strongly consider whom you vote for in light the impending draft and perpetuating more wars in remote lands that do not really make us safer at home. It is my opinion that George Bush has made us less safe by his decision to start a war and his Administration's incompetence in handling it.
I don't want to be drafted for his folly.
----
I will likely refine my letter, this is the 1st draft (pardon the pun).
Anyone else have Nov 1st emails they might send out.

I would also let them know of the eroding away of civil rights that will occur for generations if Bush gets to appoint 3-4 Clarence Thomas' to the Supreme Court. Employment discrimination will return to the norm. Don't believe me, ask any public protection attorney about the status of our employment discrimination laws. It is now all but legal to fire an employee due to age or disability. It is almost as bad for race and gender discrimination.
Sory, had to point that out.

My mom would think twice about getting her son drafted but issues like "employment discrimination" are in the "who gives a shit" department for her.
Also, I don't want to cloud the picture, I just want the following message to come through:
Bush = son/friend/brother being drafted
Kerry = No draft
