Coming up on 40 days to election! To phrase it in biblical terms

The bible always has stories about 40 days and 40 nights. There should be a 40 days to the election where Kerry takes shrub to task.
Anybody with good biblical knowledge and writing skills that could come up with something?

Paraphrasing the Old: "And the LORD made it rain for forty days and forty nights, and only Noah and those with him aboard his Ark survived the Flood."

Paraphrasing the New: "And Jesus and His disciples fasted for forty days and forty nights, and during that time repented, and asked God to forgive them of their sins."

It's time for Dub & Co. to repent, or face the resulting Flood!:D
