Last night I mentioned to my wife that when I compare my life to Kerry I have accomplished very little.....I truly admire Kerry and everything he has done with his life...war hero, prosecutor, child advocate, environmental advocate, help end the vietnam war even though it was not popular, US Senator, help our relationions with Vietnam, did much for the POW/MIA....the man is amazing!

Now compare this to simply little stupid arrogant Bush....HAHAHAHA!

It means John Kerry was more qualified for George Bush's Air National Guard position than George Bush was. (Normally, the Air Guard doesn't teach people how to fly, but they made an exception in Bush's case. )

Hope Kerry doesn't do any flying in small planes for the next few months, though...Just isn't worth the risk.

He's just comfortable in his body, if you know what I mean. He carries himself with such grace and élan, unusual for a man so tall and rangy.

When he was stationed in San Francisco before going off to Vietnam. Used to spend his spare time old-school surfing the waves. And, yes, managed to get a hold of a plane now and then to do some stunt flying - including looping the Golden Gate Bridge.

32. There is the story he told , I read in a mag about how he was allowed to

fly over the Golan Heights. Told beautifully. He has an amazing spirit that embraces all that he touches and brings out the best in all that he involves himself in. Check out this article in American windsurfer Magazine about his 3 hour cross country windsurfing outings in middle age. It's a great article with pics.

such as his actions after the Rodney King verdict. However, is it me or has this writer got the Watts riot of 1965 mixed up with the 1992 LA riot following the aquittal of the officers who beat King?

47. While not a windsurfer, I know that part of the Columbia River Gorge.

It's incredibly difficult and challenging for windsurfing and those who do are world class. Not only are the winds variable due to the geography surrounding the area, the currents at the confluence of the Hood River and the Columbia River create swells and chop that're incredible. It's not your San Francisco Bay kind of windsurfing - which is awesome enough. It's probably the topmost challenge for great windsurfers in the world.

You keep trying until you've fallen off the damn board a thousand times and you just about have it figured out. And that's NOT in the Gorge where the adults play - the Gorge is wild with the wind blowing hard one way and the entire Colubia River flowing hard the other. If you can stay up and get around in the Gorge you're a pretty good rider. If you can do anything more agressive then just stay up and get around you're a freaking master of chaos.
