but as we all know, thanks in part to Molly Ivins, Texas is famous for incestuous politics. Dems and repugs have always played footsie with each other which explains why Barnes would so willingly do a favor for a repub congressman by getting his son into the Guard. Scott was being particularly disingenuous when he made his accusation, knowing full well that Barnes had supported his very own republican mother.
