Arnold is married to a Kennedy and supports most Democratic social positions.
Wes likes Republicans so much he openly appears at fundraisers and praises their good deeds. He also admits to having voted for Republican presidents.
I don't think you want Wes compared to Arnold. I hope Clark doesn't have other Arnold flaws like hiding from the media, breaking all campaign promises and displaying inappropriate sexual behavior.

Truth be told, Wes is a lot more like fellow first in his class West Pointer Robert E. Lee than a "B" movie actor who worked his way up from porno.

Arnold gave pie in the sky to voters, hid from the media and the possibility of scrutiny and distorted opponents records.

Don't you dare compare General Clark to a frickin movie actor.
General Clark is brilliant, he is compassionate, he is educated... He gave 34 years in service to our country - whether you agree with his politics or not, whether you think he's the right man for the presidency or not, it is simply offensive that you would make that comparison.
And, by the way, I consider him 'a guy women can like' as well. I only see that level of compassion in a couple of the other candidates, and they aren't the ones poised to win the nomination.

Like Schwartznegger, I worry that he is also light on substance.
I know that there is evidence against that. But I can't shake that gut-level feeling.

Bush has a Yale degree and an MBA from Harvard.
Degree's are not new bold thinking that will lead the party to victory in 2004.

Once your above the basic credential limits, it's all processing.

Last week, to answer questions about his religiousity; Dean said he knew a lot about Chritianity. Then Dean went and stuck his foot in his mouth in a way that showed what a phony he was.

|
and we better start figuring out how to win. Another fake liberal Yankee up the middle play and flinging a bunch of mud in the air ain't getting into the endzone anymore. Maybe we need to run someone larger than life instead of an angry know it all bureaucrat who can't even put Job in the Old Testament. Is Dean an example of an Ivy League education? Maybe it's time to look at other schools?

I think Governor Dean has already figured that out. I can tell you this, if winning means putting in a pseudo-Dem, or frantically, desperately trying to frame a campaign around what Karl Rove thinks, then it doesn't make any difference who wins.
This win used to mean a lot to me - I'm not a healthy person, and I don't think I'll make it until 2008. I don't want to die in a Bush administration, but what if winning means installing someone whom I believe is a wolf in sheep's clothing?
I haven't always felt this way, until Clark supporters were kind and considerate enough to come in and totally ruin what used to be a kick-ass forum. I'd rather have Lieberman than Clark. That's what the 'enthusiasm' of Clark's destroyers has done for me, and believe me sweetie, I am NOT the only one.

He is definitely very charismatic, but more than that he's a person I can respect. He exudes warmth and thoughtful concern. His social positions are right on, and I would feel completely safe in this country if he were our president. Anyway, my point is that Clark appeals to both men and women equally, IMO.
