The reason I have been so energized for Democrats this year (I am part of the large throng that was doing something else in 2000), is that Bush is such an awful president for the reasons we all know. I was ANGRY that this man and his cronies are being allowed to hijack democracy. I was for Howard Dean, I tapped into his anger about what this admin was doing, but have come to respect and like John Kerry's views.

For about the last 3 weeks, really, since the Rep convention, I've been in spiritless funk, while wanting to push Kerry to do more to get out Bush. But what I forgot is that a whole lot of us, WHATEVER KERRY DOES OR DOES NOT DO, STILL aren't going to vote for Bush. Because he's that bad. And that includes over half of the people in my own local county... in Texas.
