| Colorado DUers, Please, how was last nights Kerry visit???? |

Poor disenfranchised Texan, who is extremely jealous, wants to know. Was there a good turn out? I have read the earlier post, but nothing was said about how many people were there and what Kerry talked about.

Kerry talked about healthcare. There seemed to be a really good turn out. A lot of union people there too. Dave Thomas talked about being on a no CARBB diet. No Cheney, no Ashcroft, no Rumsfeld, no Bush and no Beauprez.

| 2. 2,000 people crammed into a high school gym |

Got good reviews, at least from the print press. On the front page this morning was a pix of Kerry and the crowd and everyone was laughing, including Kerry.

We had a blast.. Kerry is so real, and everyone loved what he had to say. He pretty much said it all, bashed BushCo really well. If it's ever on CSPAN I'll point myself out, I was 10 feet to Kerry's right, directly behind the podium. :)
For others who were there.. Do you know anything about that "prophecy" woman? I've seen her all over the place and she's always saying crazy stuff.
Edit: The high school kids really impressed me. We talked to a few and they we're majorly turned on politically. They all cheered wildly at what Kerry had to say. I think the HS's civics teacher is the catalyst, apparently he set the whole thing up.

| 5. John Edwards came to Louisville Thursday. There was a last |

minute rally at an airport hanger (put together in less than 24 hours) for those who could not contribute $1000, $10,000 or $25,000 at fundraisers downtown. There were between 1000 and 2000 there and the Courier Journal said 200. (They have always been Democratic.)

| 6. OK, health care...did he link any of these domestic issues to IRAQ?? |
|
Did he continue to talk about "fantasyland, "spin", or "excuse President"???
If he didn't then he is blowing it! This hot and cold stuff is really lame! What does it take for this guy to be consistently going after Bush with the only soundbites that seem to have gotten any media play nationally? It's nice to do the local press (even though they apprently can't count)...but we need national presence as well....and a strong one, at that.
Please tell me he continued to go after Bush's underbelly....Please.

| 8. i checked out johnkerry.com |
|
and it said it was specifically a healthcare forum/speech
so i dont know if you particularly want to know about colorado or if its his mostrecent speeches that youre interested in
on his site, on the blog section you can check out a little bit about it and also from his speech yesterday or the day before from new mexico. someone posted on it who was there if you want to read about that
and im sure if you check around you can find the colorado transcript somewhere online
just a couple thoughts - good luck

concern is whether Kerry is hammering Bush consistently....
Frankly, I still think he's not being consistent enough....I'm very bugged by the perception of Kerry as not being as "strong" as Bush...
