| Kerry campaign should send little girl new Bush sign! |
|
Edited on Fri Sep-17-04 12:20 AM by jamieartist
Think it over...it makes Kerry look noble, shows character and class, and makes everyone go "awww." This a good idea/bad idea? Just wanted to throw it out into the void so the "right" people pass it along ;)
(I'm off to bed tonight btw, so no replies from me for a while)

| 1. Can we try to consolidate the little girl threads? |

Does this nonstory need 500 separate threads?
PS: Kerry--and we all--should ignore Drudge's little girl. Let's not turn her 15 minutes into 15 weeks.

Good because it would make Kerry look good and might make the little girl feel better. Even though I'm not sure how much of an emotional stake the little girl has in the campaign anyway... she seems to mainly be her right-wing daddy's protest prop, but you never know... She will remember feeling sad, though...
Bad because it could draw more attention to the event than it would otherwise get. This may not even turn into a big story, but I'm continually surprised by just how big of whores our media can be...

| 5. I agree, it would be the right thing to do, common ya'll we are |
|
all in this together like it or not, we are neighbors, friends, family, loved by some, not by others but in the end we are and will remain, Americans, we need to learn to live together no matter our differences, respect being a very key issue to tolerance.....
Sometimes this needs to be mentioned...after all, its not misleading, it is the truth...

John Kerry giving a Bush/Cheney sign to someone? It'll look like he's endorsing the President.
Wait, WHAT THE HELL????? WHY AM I TALKING ABOUT THIS?

| 6. Nope: a Dads for Truth ad |

...questioning why Bush is sending uninvolved, insensitive hacks to exploit CHILDREN into a campaign, without providing the endangered child comfort.
Why is Bush running as pater patriae when his own "parenting skills" (remember the arrests?) are questionble to say the least? Why is he running with child molesters in his campaign?

Seriously, someone who knowingly exploits a child, as this jackass did, can hardly be a fit parent.
The other irony is that * screens rallies so carefully, the shithead with the kid would have been arrested for that sort of stunts at a */Cheney rally.

If you want a yard sign, they will give you as MANY YARD SIGNS AS YOU WANT. cuz there is not a big demand for them
