General Blasts Bush and Judy on Inside Politics

I'm so bad with names--is it McPace??---the guy that supports Kerry in the ads. Anyway she went to him about this new report showing that Iraq is a total mess. He said the Bush had this report and knew it before he went out on the campaign trail and made all his remarks painting a great picture today. He said the least this man can do is level with the American people. He said he commanded men before and it's awful to do this to the troops and that he deserves to tell them the truth.

Then Judy starts her whinning and tells how Bush said Kerry was on 8 sides of this issue today. General said that Kerry has had the same position all along and that it is Bush who has been all over the place and finally coming to where Kerry has been all along. She then whinned about even the NYTimes says Kerry doesn't have some clear plan for Iraq. He said it's going to be a terrible job for anyone but that the choice of this election is whether you stay with the guy who has dug such a terrible hole and will continue to dig it deeper or whether you go with someone who at least has the promise of getting help over there.

She hit him with the "but he's voted for this and than that---flip, flop" and he said it's just like the cropped Jane Fonda photos with Kerry sitting on the lawn (in other words they are just picking and distorting, etc.). He said emphatically that the people have to get rid of Bush. Bet Judy won't ring him up again!!!
