bush makes his statements in 7 words or less, suitable for a fast food society. Kerry is like a multiple course dinner.

5. I thought the CBS report was right on....

Kerry does take a long time to say something whereas Bush really does fit in with not only the fast food culture but is in tune with the MTV sound byte culture. Pound home the same message over and over again and make it short and concise.

I am not sure Kerry can learn to speak this way because it's just not in him. Bush is a simpleton and Kerry is a far more complex individual. Kerry said it best...Bush is all hat and no cattle.

Is it me or is CBS on the attack when it comes to Bush? I sense, and I could be wrong, but the reports are calling Bush on stuff. One report even called him teflon and Kerry velcro when it came to accusations of flip-flopping.

about it. I just can't fathom that people want a stupid simpleton president in stead of one that speaks eloquently.

I also felt CBS was putting the screws to bush - they pointed out several of his flip flops.

I hope that CBS stands firmly behind Rather. Perhaps their attitude is to weather the storm out of principle: The coWard-in-chief has been able to run our country into the ground, thanks to media apathy, & they've decided the public needs to get informed.
