Idea for Edwards' stump speech

After laying out the facts of Kerry's position on Iraq, Edwards says something like: "You know, the Repbulicans are saying John Kerry's a flip flopper." (He holds up a pair of thongs as seen at the Thug's National Convention. Audience boos.)

Then he tosses them to the ground and pulls out a couple of previouly-hidden size 36 beach thongs, and says, "well, here's Bush's pair." (Audience explodes)

Then he quickly lists the more obvious changes in the chimps policy positions: against the commission to investigate the attacks of 9/11, then for it. Against the 87 billion dollars for Iraq, then for it...


I think this would get Edwards the national media coverage he has lacked until just the last day or so.
