Pentagon officials told Baer they plan to have their search complete by Monday. Baer ordered the Pentagon to hand over the records to the AP by Sept. 24 and provide a written statement by Sept. 29 detailing the search for more records.

doesnt that line basically give them an out until at least the 29? If they hand over all the records on the 24th why would they need to submit a written statement about searching for more records??

6. I s'pose it could be read two ways-I interpreted that to mean

that they need to dump the records by today and then provide, since they friggin dragged their feet for so long, proof by the 29th of what they actually did to search for those records, since they have, at least twice, said that all records have been released.

I'm still waiting to see the flight logs published.
