I go on a few boards, like alt.impeach.bush, and alt.politics.kerry, and I am amazed the kind of responses I get from these Bush supporters.. Are they really this blind?? Can they just not see or do they just not care?? They can never answer any charges against Bush but they will make up lies constantly about Kerry. How can they support Bush so much that they are willing to lie for him??

2. The Only Political Forum I Visit on Usenet

is misc.activism.progressive, and it's moderated...no discussion - just posts that are vetted by the admin. The forum generates quite an impressive volume of postings daily, and I prefer to study in peace, not having to worry about freepers taking a dump on good information and commentary.

There is a perfect example of what you're talking about going on there 24/7. Truth is, ad-hominem fallacy is the only tactic that the 'Thugs know how to utilize an argument. They will rarely if ever acknowledge and respond to the points you make or proof you provide. That isn't what they are about, it's not about TRUTH, its about WINNING - be it the debate you are having with them, or the election in November. They never know ANYTHING about ANY issues except for the RW talking points, which are almost always very easy to lay to waste with facts. The problem is that they'll NEVER actually admit that you've proven their RWTP's to be bullshit, let alone debate you fairly on any other level. It's enough to make you pull your hair out and start screaming - in fact, I have a bunch of times!

It's really scary, because these people make up a good chunk of the electorate, yet their 'blind obedience to their fuhrer' mentality makes it feel like you're talking to Moonie's! They are just sooooo misinformed, so deceitful in their debate tactics and so completely out there in la-la-land, I swear. It's fully depressing!

Lastly, you need to be careful when chatting w/these folks, my friends. 'Cause the conversations can be so surreal and disconcerting that it can totally trigger an acid flashback ... not to mention spontaneously lowering your IQ.

or if you are on cable or dsl then your provider gives you access to them..You can view them with google under groups.. Go to google, click on groups and then type in alt.impeach.bush and you will get an idea of what they are:)

Call your ISP and see if they provide them.. You might be missing a service that comes with your ISP.. I personally pay 3.00 a month for the service, but you can also set up an account and post through google for free.
