John Kerry could carry the state of Washington in the 2004 United States presidential election, according to a poll by Elway Research. 52 per cent of respondents would vote for the Democratic nominee, while 38 per cent would support Republican incumbent George W. Bush.http://www.cpod.ubc.ca/polls/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewItem&itemID=4370Also California: The Democratic ticket of John Kerry and John Edwards would carry the state of California in the 2004 United States presidential election, according to a poll by the Public Policy Institute of California. 51 per cent of respondents would vote for the Democratic challengers, while 39 per cent would support Republican incumbents George W. | 3. Not many Bush/Cheney stickers here in Puget Sound. |
|
Definitely not seeing the visible yard sign and bummper sticker support at the same level as in 2000, and Bush lost this state by about 1% in 2000.
My "eyes" poll agrees with this Elway Research poll.
