"Baghdad Bombings Kill 35 Children"--Bu$hco, I hope
Edited on Thu Sep-30-04 12:11 PM by GreenPartyVoter
the pain of these children and their families seeps into your souls tonight. I pray that you, Mr. Bu$h, as you stand amid the glare of the lights on the debate stage truly see THE light and admit that you have, well-meaning or otherwise, done a grave disservice to the people of the world with your war on "terra".

(And just so you know, Mr. Bu$h, this note came to me directly from Him)

2. Or DU munitions, or cluster munitions, or land mines....
Because, we by taking the high road and doing the "right thing", are not culpable for "collateral damage"

3. Damn! My CNN International TV screen is full of bloodied children --
I am assuming the same is not true of CNN domestic? And I would be, I assume, correct in noting that this unspeakable tragedy today will not impact the preplanned, sanitized debate tonight -- or take attention away from the tan issue?

6. International is a whole different thing -- that's what damns CNN domestic
CNN can still be a first-rate news organization for the rest of the world; in the U.S., they march to Rove's drummer, and do all they can to legitimize George W. Bush, and assure a victory for him in this election.

They reported on these dead children for quite a while, showed pictures of bloodied children, and are still airing a lengthy discussion about the "insurgency." There are reporters scarcely seen domestically that are seen frequently, daily on International. Christiane Amanpour, for example -- although she's off air now, maybe taking care of the little tyke while Jamie Rubin works for Kerry.

8. Wish I could get CNNi... I get Free Speech tv, but hubby dismisses
it as "fringe news". He'd actually believe things if he saw them on the "real" news. :eyes:

5. Kerry better question the liar about his recent comments
on how Iraq is safer. Nuff said.

This is beyond words.
