| Does Greg Pierce Have A Chance Against Mike Rogers? |
|
Edited on Tue Oct-17-06 02:29 AM by Syrinx
I think Rogers has about 1000 times the campaign funds that Pierce does, but the third district is, on paper, the most competitive in the state. I would really like to see Alabama Democrats win one for the team (the country).
I don't live in that part of the state, and I haven't seen any polls. Is Pierce competitive at all?

You would think Rogers was running unopposed. We never see or hear of Greg Peirce. His campaign is literally a non-entity in Calhoun County.
Rogers has proven to be pretty good at bringing the pork to his district, and with his competitor keeping such a low profile, it seems likely that Rogers will win in a walk.
Sad, but true.
I really wish Joe Turnham would have taken another run at Rogers' seat. But, as I have said before, I'm glad to have Turnham in his current position as state party chair.
