darn it, we could've won one for the team
Greg Pierce got 40% of the vote against Mike Rogers, without any money at all or much of a campaign. If the party (state and/or national) had funded Pierce, I think it's very likely that Alabama would have contributed to the Democratic takeover of the House. And that would have made me very happy.

Not that I'm unhappy, very early this morning. But, dammit, why didn't we fund this guy?
