Westboro Baptist Church protesting the funerals of the kids killed in Huntsville

They will be protesting Friday and Saturday.
I'm considering driving up there and doing my best to block them from the families. No clue what would be the best way. Hang a big sheet? Make a blockade of some sort. Anyone live up that way? This shit is disgusting.

2. There is a Motorcycle Club

that does this. They don't take sides on any type of religion they personally block the nutcases from getting near or being seen by the members of the funeral. I know they show up at military funerals, but I think they are starting to show up every place these nuts come to.

But I hope that one of the funerals, at least, is in one of the rougher areas of the city.

5. The funerals are not in bad parts of town to my knowledge

There are a lot of Huntsville folks who are outraged and going to the funerals to block this disgusting piece of trash from being seen by the families.

7. There is no really "rougher" area of Huntsville in the daytime.

The funerals are being held in middle class African-American neighborhoods.

The only part of the city to "avoid" would be late at night when the bars are closing and the partiers headed to the Quest for after hours in Bham; or up on Oakwood near the university there and then only at night or waaay early in the morning.

The Phelps Crowd has a habit of not showing up when they are scheduled. I don't think they made it today (Friday) as it was not on local Huntsville news, and they all know about the Westboro threat. I think about everyone in the Tennessee Valley including NW Miss. up to Nashville knows.
