| Ed Schultz thinks Alabama is tiny |
|
I like Ed Schultz a lot, and I catch his show when I can.
But he seems to be confused about how many people live in Alabama.
Alabama isn't California or Texas or New York. Those are huge states.
But Ed is smoking some lettuce when it comes to Alabama. He conflates Alabama with North Dakota.
He paired those states when questioning whether their populations were big enough to influence insurance rates.
Alabama is the home to about 4.7 million people.
North Dakota, about 650,000.
Those numbers aren't comparable.
Alabama is the 23rd most populous state. North Dakota is number 48.
I love Ed, and his program. But, come on. Ed is biased against the South. It is obvious.
We probably deserve, as a state, to be biased against. But as individuals, we do not.

| 1. Yeah that sucks because I love me some Ed Shultz but I get what he is saying. |

We have 1.5% of the population. Also sadly I no longer live in Bama, but on the upside I moved to an area that MSNBC is not considered a premium channel. Again sadly I moved to the state where everything is bigger. I mean damn its like they think they are their own country out here. Never gonna give up my bamacratness though.
