Ahhh...to be an Arizona Dem with $500 to spend on this event.

2. Who can? This is a serious disconnect in the party and it makes me sick.

After the work I put in to get him elected, I can't even get a handshake.

I know we need the money, but can't we have a $25 rib dinner? I bet the Big Dawg would LOVE it and it would prolly raise even more money!

3. you're absolutely right. it would be more to his liking. i was

invited to another dinner saturday which janet napolitano will be hosting and that's $200 a plate. she did have one a month or so ago which was $50 a person. even that if i went with my husband it would have been $100.00 and then there was going to be fundraising too. so you feel you need to have your checkbook open. :eyes:

4. i went to the Dean breakfast before the last election..

it was $50 bucks and i have one of the best memories and photos to cherish.

I got to sit next to a gentleman whose name i dont recall, but he was running against Arpaio, and he was freaking awesome.

7. do they get pushy trying to get you to contribute? i give to some,

but can't give to all. i get e-mails every day asking me to contribute. i'd like to go to these house parties they've been having for herb paine, but i don't want to feel pressured.

just contributed to conyers today. got an e-mail from him. seems he's gonna have to really fight for his re-election. he's one of my favorite people.

Mine was a bit more formal but most have been really low Key. I have gione to several and not contributed. I can't afford to so it all! Where do you live ? Are you perhaps in District 6 ? I assume you are in Congressional Distict 3.

that would certainly be a memorable experience. just love him. wish we could have him back. in costa rica they just elected a president who had been president many years before. they only allow a president to serve a 4 year term. but i guess if there's enough time in between they can run again. by the way pickles went to costa rica for the new president's inauguaration last week. there had been some problems with the former president and the US. former president said united states doesn't know how to treat it's latin american friends. he was referring to the bush administration. said bush treated him like a dog.
