OK....112 degrees at my place for last 3 days.

Right now the weather service say 106, but it is really 110 in the shade. Lost two hens in the past 2 days dispite fans and giving them fresh water every few hours (they stand in it to cool down)...geeez! Forcast is for another 4 days of this heat. Anyone still doubt global warming..ha! I am in SW Arkansas, but this heat does not seem to be limited to here. What's the deal! It is trying to live with this on going heat. Cannot imagine it without AC....but hey...could happen with the ongoing pull on the rural electricity. Just read of the ongoing heat in northern countries of Russia and Finland and the fires in Russia...soooooo, guess it doesn't help to move north. I dream of snow..ha!

its been hot as hell here(SW MO) as well, I swear with the heat index we have been over 100 plus for well over a month....

I'll bet you're going to be having fried chicken for dinner often this summer. I can't imagine what it's going to be like in August if it's already 110 in the shade in the first week of June...B-)
