A PEACE WALK WITH THICH NHAT HANH
On October 8, Thich Nhat Hanh will be leading a peace walk, "Peace Is
Every Step: Walking and Eating Mindfully in the Park" MacArthur Park,
10am for introduction and walking in peace, 12noon for lunch and 1-3pm
peace activities for young people, ages 13-25. KPFK is co-sponsoring
the event with many organizations including the Agape International
Spiritual Center, American Friends Service Committee, Divine Forces
Radio, Los Angeles NAACP, Southern Christian Leadership Conference,
Topanga Alliance and many others. This will be an opportunity to
participate in an historic occasion and walk with one of the great
