Early Voting started today!

Just a reminder to those who do not want to wait in the long lines on Nov 4 and those who have not applied for absentee ballots.

1. I didn't get my absentee ballot yet! My neighbor got his a few

days ago. Should I be alarmed? I am concerned. Any ideas?

4. I would say if you do not get it by Wednesday, call the county.

5. I called today and they said they would send me another one.

...........but I must say, that is something else to consider....what if you don't get your absentee ballot? How long should one wait?

I am voting by absentee but I don't know the candidates for water district, etc.

So I am not voting for anyone who I know nothing about.

6. Is it possible that there's only one place to vote early in LA County?

I checked online and I only saw one location and it's 25 miles from where I live. I do have an absentee ballot but I get the feeling they're not counted until after the election's been called and I kinda want to be a bit more relevant.

7. Too far for me too...the only other reason I would be out that way

is to transport a rescued dog. If that were to happen, I couldn't wait in line for hours. I am going to have to wait until 11/4 and hope to hell the lines are short. Thank heavens I work for Mrs. Richard Pryor and the wait will at least be entertaining.

From what I understand, and I have only lived in California for 1 1/2 years, the wait shouldn't be too long.

I got my absentee ballot on Oct. 13 and sent it in soon thereafter.
